Line-up

The band's third album, Turn Back, marked the return to the traditional sextet arrangement of previous albums and was a stronger, more consistent effort with an edge that was stronger than Hydra. The more edgier sound of Turn Back reflected the growth of the band. Bobby Kimball's growing ability to play was evident in the vocal delivery of Joseph Williams, who had grown more confident and mature.
