Finally, the Coya TRVL ($320) is another one-handed, one-step fold with car seat compatibility and a far-reaching canopy. It's a bit pricier than the other models in this class, but it offers extra features like a large cupholder for the parent and a handlebar that can be adjusted for parents of all sizes and a comfy carry strap. The simplicity of the model does not mean it's as durable, as contrasted with other models in this class.

2. Easy to fold

The most recent type of stroller that is a travel model is tri-fold, which folds into thirds and offers the best combination of compactness and features. The UPPAbaby Minu for instance, comes with a reversible seat, an unstructured rear storage pouch, and a locking clasp that keeps it folded. It's a bit bigger than the umbrellas of the brand but can be folded more compactly than G-Luxe or G-Link counterparts. It also has a padded shoulder strap.

3. Easy to store

The most effective strollers for travel can be folded down to a compact size that is easy to store. They can be easily stowed in the trunk of a car or the overhead bin of an airplane. It's also slightly sturdier than an umbrella stroller, and it comes with a cushioned carrying strap that takes some of the burden off your shoulders.

4. Confortable

It is important to be comfortable when using strollers for long periods of time. Find seats with plenty of padding and recline systems that allows you to set it at multiple angles. Note if the canopy extends to provide sun protection, and if the mesh windows allow airflow. Look for a model with a parent organizer/cupholder and an ample basket under the seat in case you need to carry your belongings.
